On March 12, 2025, at the International Center of UniCredit Bulbank - Sofia, the Institute for Market Economics presented the key findings of the latest edition of "Regional Profiles: Development Indicators - 2024" specifically for the international community, offering a look at both regional challenges and Bulgaria's prospects for adopting the euro in 2026.

Presentation of the English version of “Regional Profiles – Development Indicators – 2023” – 20.03.2024
On 20 March 2024, IME presented the English version of the “Regional Profiles: development indicators – 2023” to embassies and bilateral chambers in Sofia. Interest was again high. We presented the general economic situation, regional challenges and some regional data on the performance of the local justice system.

IME presented the English version of "Regional Profiles: Development Indicators" – February 27, 2023
Since 2012, the Institute for Market Economy has been presenting the only study of the social and economic situation of the regions in Bulgaria in terms of scale and depth.
The regional profiles are based on 68 indicators presenting the real picture in the 28 regions.

The Institute for Market Economics presented the English edition of Regional Profiles: Indicators of Development 2021
During the presentation, the main topics of discussion were the effects of the COVID pandemic on education, demography, health and the economy, changes in the regional map, and the regional potential for the economic and social development.
