The Institute for Market Economics (IME) specializes in the preparation of economic profiles for Bulgarian municipalities. Such analysis is important for the development of local policies, since it brings to light often skipped specifics of the particular municipality. It provides insight into important questions such as how and why a municipality develops, and which economic sectors are showing promise and have the potential to grow or be developed. In addition, it addresses the lack of knowledge regarding the profile of the workforce and other issues such as the logistic possibilities that the municipality has to offer.
The economic analysis of each municipality helps local authorities make more appropriate decisions; helps local administrations to attract investments and to create better local policies; helps businesses by providing opportunities to make informed choices and more accurate plans.
IME can produce an economic profile for each Bulgarian municipality.
